Agastache foeniculum Liquorice Blue

Giant hyssop

Numerous spikes of dark, purple-blue flowers arranged in whorls give a swathe of violet to the border from July-September. Standing tall and upright, it is the perfect foil for almost any other flower.

The foliage on this fabulous hardy perennial is soft and serrated and resembles mint. It has a deliciously refreshing, minty - liquourice scent when crushed.

A stately plant for the middle of the herbaceous border.

Plant 3 or 5 plants together for real impact.

Makes an excellent cut flower and smells wonderful in the house.

Prefers a sunny position in any reasonably fertile garden soil.
