Hemerocallis Pardon Me

Day Lily

Small but richly fragrant, bright red flowers with a chartreuse green throat look truly exotic. Gorgeous againsy a backdrop of strap-like, arching leaves.

As the name 'Day Lily' suggests, each flower lasts only a day but, they appear in profusion from July-September, especially once established.

An easy to grow, really hardy, clump-forming perennial.

Hemerocallis is extremely wind tolerant so they work well in coastal gardens or on exposed sites.

They look great softening the edge of a path or driveway.

Plant darker colours such as 'Pardon Me' against lighter colours for greater impact.

Happy in sun or part shade in any moist soil.
