Lonicera heckrottii Gold Flame

Decadently scented, orange-throated pink tubular flowers are borne in clusters in summer and fill the garden with fragrance and are followed by sticky red berries in autumn.

Happy in sun or part shade in any soil.

A deciduous, climber (semi-evergreen in mild winters) perfect for growing over arches, fences or for covering tired looking sheds and outbuildings. It doesn't have the twining stems of other honeysuckles so will need tying in to its supports.

This is a more compact, bushy honeysuckle that would be suitable for growing in a container which would limit its size.

Height and spread : 5m (15ft)

Fully hardy.
