The heady scent of this shrub in the darkest days of winter, easily earn it a place in even the smallest garden.
Very fragrant creamy white, tubular flowers with prominent clusters of bright yellow stamens, cover the bare stems of this semi-evergreen shrub in the depths of winter. From December to March the flowers fill the garden with a strong, honeysuckle perfume.
Plant amongst summer-flowering shrubs or use the mature stems as support for a small, summer-flowering clematis as they can look relatively insignificant once in full leaf.
Happy in sun or part shade in any soil.
Eventual height and spread 2 x 2m.
