Primula beesiana

Candelabra Primula

Originally from the damp meadows of China and the foothills of the Himalayas, this plant is the perfect choice for a woodland or bog garden or a shady or damp part of the border.

Vivid magenta pink flowers with a yellow eye are arranged in whorls at regular intervals on tall stems up to 60cm high. They give a real burst of bright colour and look stunning when planted en-masse. The clusters of flowers open gradually, prolonging the display. Flowers from April - June.

They form strong clumps of primrose-like leaves which die right back in Winter.

Fully hardy.
