A deciduous shrub with aromatic leaves and clusters of coppery red and yellow flowers in late spring.
A cross between Ribes sanguineum and Ribes odoratum hence the beautiful two-tone flowers that are reminiscent of ripe nectarines. Fully hardy it will grow happily in any situation apart from deep shade and in any soil.
Height and spread approx 2m after 10yrs.
All plants in this genus produce edible fruits. It is also possible to eat the flowers though this will reduce the fruit yield.
Formerly known as Ribes x gordonianum.
