Clump-forming perennial with an upright habit boasting large, loose, flat heads of rich crimson,wine-red flowers with a white eye which fade to buff pink, giving a soft, two-tone effect.
Dark green divided foliage is evergreen.
Flowers are excellent for cutting, long lasting and suitable for drying.
As with all Yarrows, its flowering period is satisfyingly long (June - September), making it a must in any garden.
Easy to grow and care for. Happy in exposed, windy sites. Loved by bees and other pollinators. Prefers some sun though will tolerate part shade.
