Iris sib. 'Silver Edge'

Siberian Iris

Stunning violet blue, ruffled flowers outlined in silver with attractive, veined throats.

Siberian Irises form a sturdy clump of strappy, grass-like, bright green foliage in the border.

Blooming in early summer May-June.
Siberian Iris are tolerant of wet sites and will even grow in the shallow water at the edge of a pond or stream. They are quite happy and easy in any soil in sun or part shade and are really useful as an alternative to bearded irises in more moist or shady gardens.

A taller Iris, growing to a height of approx 1m (3ft), making it ideal mid-border and so pretty with pink roses and peonies.

Fully hardy.
