Clustered Bellflower

Campanula glomerata

Also known in some areas as 'Dane's Blood', Clustered Bellflower produces masses of deep, violet blue flowers all summer long from June - October. This short, grassland perennial is often mistaken for Gentians in the wild due to its vivid violet flowers.

Suitable for naturalizing in woodlands or in a wildflower meadow and should not be underestimated for its ability to bring a vibrant splash of colour to a mixed border.

Extremely wind tolerant and will still flower after being grazed by rabbits or deer.

Happiest in reasonably well-drained soil in sun or part shade.

Forms a really good sized clump over time, sending up multiple stout stems with flower clusters at the top.

Really hardy.
